About this Course

Best Mediations for Wellbeing

"Thanks for bringing such a big topic into a concise and clear presentation, and the distinctions between 'garden variety', mindfulness, and yogic traditions. Great roadmap!"  Les Boyer, participant

Mindfulness meditation seems to be in fashion in the world of psychotherapy, pain management, and education.  But...Is Mindfulness Meditation the full story, the full monty?  Do you wonder if it can take you as far as you, or others, want to go?

There's no doubt, mindfulness meditation and mindful activity can be particularly useful for people in a spiritual crisis as well as those who may get upset by being with individuals who are in crisis!  Mindfulness brings more calmness and diminishes chronic pain.  It's effective and user-friendly.

But...perhaps you are called to a larger psycho-spiritual goal..then what?

After more than 50 years of meditation practice, and 30 years as a psychotherapist, Emma Bragdon has a wealth of information and perspective to share about meditation.  She began following Buddhist meditation techniques in the 1960s under Suzuki Roshi, an enlightened Zen Buddhist...and is now following techniques transmitted thousands of years ago by Yogic sages who were Self-Realized.

In this one hour recorded webinar she reveals:

•Relevant parts of her story
•The Power of Mindfulness
     –Benefits and Limitations
     –Research and Culture
•The Power of Yogic Meditation
     –Benefits and Challenges
     –Research and Culture
You will also receive thoughtfully selected resources you can use for further exploration: a link to a vid on the substance of the Universe,  a 22-minute special guided meditation for clearing and strengthening the heart chakra, plus a 9-minute video on how meditation amplifies your creativity, your ability to be effective in the world, as well as your peace of mind.
